Mod meets Medieval Renaissance in this quintessential Paraphernalia 1960s mini dress.

Orange, red, green, and gold brocade fabric with gold decorative trim along the neckline, empire waist, and cuffs. The dramatic bell sleeves are lined in merlot velvet. Rear metal zip closure, fully lined.

This dress is a piece of fashion history and was acquired from the original owner herself, Bonnie, who told us she wore it when she was eighteen in New York City. The Parephernalia Boutique was located on Madison Avenue in Manhattan and it's 1965 opening night party was thrown by none other than Andy Warhol. Betsey Johnson got her fashion design start there and Twiggy and Edie Segwick were known to wear the brand, among many famous, fashionable, and fabulous people.
